As summer draws to an end, we have decided to celebrate the remaining warmth with a grape that embodies thirst quenching refreshment.  Sauvignon Blanc is never shy on personality, nor the fact that it has many.  We’ll explore its many expressions, from its youthful tropical notes of the New World to the restrained elegance of the Old, as well as its ability to be blended and barrel aged for exquisitely age-worthy wines on par with great White Burgundy.  

In order to pack and ship these wines to arrive in time for the first virtual tasting, this package is only available for purchase until 12 pm on September 2 or until it sells out.

2019 Château Carbonnieux Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, France -- This white Bordeaux blend is mostly Sauvignon Blanc, and presents an array of herbs and fruit. Fresh white peaches, Bosc pears and honeysuckle with touches of lemongrass and yuzu.

2019 Alphonse Mellot - La Moussière Sancerre, Loire Valley, France -- Sancerre is always a solid choice for old world Sauvignon Blanc.  This Alphonse Mellot bottling has flavors of lemon and passionfruit, with a hint of lemongrass.  Tons of minerality on the finish.

2020 Craggy Range - Te Muna Road Vineyard, Martinborough, New Zealand -- Not your typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.  This comes from Martinborough on the northern island.  Stony soils and a cooler climate in Marlborough bring an elegance to this tropical fruit driven wine.
