2021 Champagne 3 pack

A few of our favorite bubbles for this year's virtual Champagne & Oyster event.  They were chosen by our Director of Hospitality and Advanced Sommelier Karl Kuhn.  This 3 pack includes one bottle of each of the following:

Pierre Gimonnet 'Fleuron', Blanc de Blancs 2010
The Grower Go-To
Gimonnet is a perennial favorite among our close sommelier friends for its pure and very poised wines.  The 2010 Fleuron is born of old vine Premier and Grand cru vineyards.  It shows a beautiful combination of creamy richness from the forward 2010 vintage combined with the tension and polish expected from a wine focused solely on Chardonnay.

Elegance and Legacy
There is a reason this house is the oldest continuously family-owned property in Champagne.  With a reputation for wines built to highlight grace and precision, this 2009 vintage defines these qualities sublimely.   Demonstrating a seamless marriage of finely etched acid and sound power thanks to late season ripening; it is wine that shows the beauty and balance expected from a top house in an exceptional year. 

L. Aubry Fils, Brut Rosé, Premier Cru
Rich yet Focused
This Brut Rosé is classy and elegant through and through. It shows lovely energy and focus in its freshly cut sweet roses, red berries and minerals. All of the aromas and flavors flow gracefully into a rich and lacy texture presenting a firm, minerally finish.  A perfect example of a serious rosé.
